David DiSalle comes from a family of accomplished musicians. Born in 1978, Toronto-based David DiSalle was exposed to many musical styles while growing up. David says the Beatles, Peter Gabriel, Mark Knopfler, Sting and Neil Young were some of the artists that influenced his early song writing. Jimi Hendrix, Julian Bream, Lenny Breau, Roy Buchanan and Stevie Ray Vaughan have all influenced his development as a guitar player, and it was the music of Queen that most influenced DiSalle’s piano playing. The stylings of guitar masters as diverse as Jimi Hendrix, Julian Bream, Lenny Breau, Roy Buchanan, and Stevie Ray Vaughan were influential in the development of his guitar playing skills, while the music of Queen inspired his creativity on the piano.
