Cara Matthew is a twenty-seven year old jazz and blues vocalist. She was born and raised in British Columbia and has recently moved to Toronto, Ontario. While she was growing up and being classically trained, Cara fell in love with the genre of jazz and blues. Cara has performed at Baker’s Keyboard Lounge in Detroit, Michigan, which is the “longest running jazz club anywhere in the world.” In Toronto, she gigs at venues such as N’awlins with local piano player Robi Botos. Cara has also enjoyed playing with musicians George Koller, Davide DiRenzo, and Guido Basso. Cara has teamed up with Toronto producer Greg Kavanagh to record her first CD entitled Make You Feel My Love.
